Bucs are a 9 pt favorite

It's technically 6 right - because you get 3 for being the home team....so if it was in Atlanta they would be 3 point favorites

It depends in what city you play in. Take Dallas playing at Arizona. They usually get a lot of cowboy fans at the game and the home field advantage doesn't affect the game as much. Tampa Bay would probably be 4.5 point favorites

That line will change quickly this week.... though I agree with those who could care less.

This team isn't worried about the press and naysayers. They are well coached and will play each opponent to the last whistle and second.

It's going to be a fun season.

These opposing coaches will watch the film week in week out and you can bet a well coached team (Falcons) will have their opponents respect.

good, being the underdogs feel sooo good. people have sat around and underestimated us all offseason, which is fine, but we arent the 07 falcons. we are a little bit like the giants in the playoffs last year, if we win, great nobody expected us to, if we lose, well nobody expected us to win anyway. i dont think we'll lose though. B)

bring it to em TNT!!!!!

expect to be big underdogs all season.......unless we keep scoring points! and win some games!

but really you cant read so much into point spreads, cause this team wont get no love yet!!

the "pros" think... ahhh that was just Detroits putrid defense! But we falcon fans know we got something special here!!!

those pointspreds will get smaller as the season goes on!!

I have to be cautiously optimistic with the Bucs. We have traditionally struggled against them.

I believe the gameplan is technically the same. Shut down their run game and force them to throw the football. Graham and Dunn combined rushed for 145 on the Saints. We need to hold them below that. Thankfully, the Bucs don't have the freak of nature wideouts that the Lions do. But Galloway is still fast even for his age and he and Hilliard are crafty vets. We'll have to blanket those guys all day. They will test our young corners. Thankfully we have a vet like Milloy back there that will keep everyone in control.

The Bucs will come after Ryan on passing downs so we have to get Turner and Norwood going early and block with the intensity we did against the Lions. If we do, we should be able to win the game.

I SAID THIS LAST WEEK AND I'LL SAY IT AGAIN NOW. "I DON'T CARE WHAT THE ODDS ARE.

I DON'T CARE WHAT ESPN AND THE NFL NET WORK SAY. BRING'EM ON AND LET'S GET IT

OVER WITH AND MOVE ON TO THE NEXT VICTIM."

Agree!

This should be a good test this week. Their offense isn't that great, and franky doesn't have

the receiving weapons that Detroit had. I think we should be able to keep their offense off of

the field and to scoring very few points... However, their defense is still STOUT. This will really

test our OL coaching, schemes, play calling, and frankly Ryans abiility to read down-field

QUICKLY. Like before, we need to run and be effective with it.

I'm predicting a close game, but a loss. I HOPE NOT. I hope we push these guys all over

the field and win by a 45 point margin. But hope and sense are different. :-)

14-10 Bucs, with their defense scoring one of their two TD's...
