Rookie QB Matt Ryan was pulled from the game after throwing for 360 yds and 4 touchdowns with 9:13 left on the clock in the fourth quarter. Ryan was replaced by Chris Redmond who also led the Falcons to a final game ending drive that added 3 more points onto the scoreboard.

With a 31 point lead in the 4th quarter head coach Mike Smith felt no need to continue playing the rookie.
