dirtybirdies98
Hope you're all as excited for the regular season as I am. Our first game is on Sunday against the Lions, and I can't wait. It's great that it's at home, too, so we can have our fans there to cheer us on, and we can be a little more relaxed and stay at home rather than flying all the way out to Michigan. This week we've been practicing with our official team -- about 20 guys are missing from the week before. It's a little sad, because I was pretty close with a few of the guys who were cut, but it's just part of what happens every year. It's actually good in a way, because it makes everyone realize that there is always someone waiting to take your spot, and it's truly a privilege to be here. We have to contribute to the team in all areas a" whether that's making meetings on time or hitting as hard as you can on the field. Otherwise, you might be giving up your spot on the roster to the next guy, who's always doing his best. Now that we're down to our 53-man roster, we're ready to do what it takes to come together and win this first game against Detroit. Be sure to tune in for this one. direwolf
I'm a huge fan of Mughelli. He's got exactly the kind of attitude I want from a fullback and I'm really looking forward to seeing him have a big year. He laid out a few people in the pre-season and that's the king of thing that'll get the team fired up and ready for more action!Direwolf
FalconFanForLife
Man I am just glad to see the current coaching staff utilize this guy more. After that idiot Quitrino cried about needing him so much, he never even used the guy. As soon as he was gone, they put him in and he looked good.I am really fired up about how Mularkey will use Ovie this season as we got a glimpse from preseason that he will play a much larger role this season for us. I can't wait to see what he can do this year.
UNCFalcon
Yeah, I didn't know about this guy before we signed him, then last year I wondered what the big fuss was all about, but he's looked good so far and I look forward to seeing him continue to do well. Audit the Fed
he's rated so high in Madden I love him! <----- sarcasmI completely agree with you guys. Mularkey knows what he's doing with him. Once Ovie is utilized more, along with burner and norwood, it'll get a lot of the pressure off matt. hopefully that'll give him enough time to adjust to REAL nfl speed (not pre-season) and hopefully be more confident in the players around him and himself. Tomorrow is the big day. I can't wait!

ki46dinah
Ovie was never as good, or ever will be, as good as Bob Christian and Justin Griffith. That being said, I want him to do well because he is on this team.
