Clipper
AF.com linkFLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – The Atlanta Falcons today completed a trade with the Denver Broncos, acquiring cornerback Domonique Foxworth for a 2009 seventh round draft pick, contingent on Foxworth’s playing time this season. Foxworth was actively involved in the community in Denver and was recognized as the Broncos’ Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award winner in 2007.Fudge, 5-9, 194 pounds, enters his third year in the NFL having spent the last two seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars. ATLFalcon36
surprised we cut Adams and not Irons, while Irons was a beast on ST.. Adams was pretty solid at Corner, but I guess Foxworth is taking the nickle/dime or 2nd corner spot.. Grimes did everything he needed to do to earn the #1 spot. ~SEAMILL~
Corey McIntyre? wasn't he the special teams captain? I know if he would have made any attempt at a block that jennings would have returned that punt for a td in preseason game 3.
P-Dub
McIntyre gone? That was a big surprise to me. Why would you let the ST captain go, yet keep the worst punt returner in recent Falcons history...
Clipper
The thing that somewhat confuses me is that we assumed that Foxworth was being picked up to provide experience/depth. But, we cut Blue Adams, a veteran, to sign him. I guess blue just wasn't cutting it. The Jamaal Fudge pick up is nice though.

Norwood32
Getting Foxworth is great, and for a 7th round pick.. STEAL. He is really good. Great move by TD. IDK who Fudge is, i was hoping we would sign Sharpe to the team since we cut Blue Adams.
sdogg
I don't know anything about Fudge, but Coach Smith does...and thats the most important thing.Exactly. I love these moves we have made the past few days. I think we are really solidifying this team, with some young vets.
innovativefx
We have a Fudge on the team? haha Well - nothing surprises me - I never thought McIntyre was a good FB - but seemed good on ST. If I was coach - I would want more defensive ST players - not offensive.
R.U.N.n.G.U.N.
i had iron to be a better player than blue in the future...we stayed young and still have value with irons on special teams
SiViK_OuTkAsT™
I already trust Smitty, but especially on the defensive side of the ball.
Headshot
I rooted so hard for the Packers to draft Jamaal Fudge a couple years ago.
Brewcrew
wow......jennings over adams and mcintyre???We have to keep Jennings until we find someone to return punts. Thomas Brown getting injured for the year ruined any plans they may have had to immediately release Jennings.

Dedsquirl
hmmm now Fudge?Looks like smith is getting some familiar facesYep.Either he knows the kid from watching him, or one of his buddies still at Jax gave him a call and said "He looked great! We just ain't got room. Better you get him than someone else."
