Explosive xero
although we wont have a ton of games together I remember a lot of debate about who we should draft between ryan and flacco. right now there is no doubt abbout who I would choose and I will go as far as to say that there is no debate. I look forward to seeing how their stats compare at the end of the seasons. What are your projections from them both. THESE are mineRyan: 2700 yards(158 a game) 17 TD's 13 Int 8/8Flacco 2100 yards(124 a game) 12 TD's 14 Int 9/11Both teams project to have solid wr's the ravens have a veteran wr and some decent route runners the falcons have a coprs of budding young players. The running gam is offically back in atlanta and the game on the ground will more than likely be the forte of both teams as th coaches try to support and develop their rookie qb's. at the physical standpoint flacco has the advantage in arm strength but ryan appears to read defenses better, and though his accuraccy has been a bit streaky at times he has adjusted well to the speed of the preseason in the nfl. the deefense of the ravens is still in the top 8 while the falcons look to rebuild. Look out for a few surprise players on the falcons like curtis lofton, chevis jackson, and even a breakout year from Jamaal anderson who I think is a run stopper moreso than an edge rusher. He will be in the backfield quite a bit as a DT on 3rd and long situations and he should be quicker than most guards. UnrealfalcoN
naw...flacco will get more yards...sadly. for some reason mularky isnt stretching the field, last year, half of our WR TD's were from WRS running the post
SiViK_OuTkAsT™
*whips it out* Ok, now on to business. I don't have solid numbers to post here, but I will say Ryan will have the better year and career. Ryan has a lot to lean on in our offense, we offer a lot of support for a young QB to start here. Ravens are typically known for their D, that may change though. I think Flacco will take more time to develop than Ryan. So overall, Ryan's Career > Flacco's Career. Magic Man
Flacco looks confused by the speed of the NFL. I like Ryan to have an all around better season, and Flacco to lose his starting position when the other QBs over there can get healthy
Explosive xero
I think ryan will be steady over the season but for flacco he will probably start of a bit slower then as the season goes on his ability to handle the speed of the pro game will catch up to his physical traits. flaccos maximum upside is carson palmer( great arm strength can ake all throws capable of making good descision) I think ryan is a mix of manning and Hasselbeck who is severely underrated. I look forward to an efficient and fiery field general
Return-of-the-Falcon
flacco will be pulled by week 3, its not even close, the only reason he is the starter is becuase they dont have anyone else, smith is in the hospital, boller is going on IR and Harrington just signed, he might not even make it to week 2also, why in the **** would the Ravens sign harrington over simms? simms has proved far more than harrington, and could be successful with the ravens offense. harrington is going to screw that team up. FalconHEAT
(sarcasm on)Shockley will have a better career than either. (sarcasm off)Ryan will have the better career. I was never impressed by Flacco and was glad that we didn't take him. The fact that he transferred from Pitt to Delaware after not winning the starter job was all I needed to know. Explosive xero
id rather have a cerebral guy over a physical marvel at most position espcially qb
Dr.Know
there is no comparison Flacco has awful feet in the pocket and his arm strengeth will only take him so far.

He just freezes in the games. Still I hope he can turn it around for his career. I don't know who is going to have the better career. We tend to forget that SO much depends on the team and organization around the player.Does anyone really think that Brady or Manning would have won so much if they had come to Atlanta? It takes the entire organization to consistently win in the NFL. So while I am UBER impressed with Ryan so far, I am probably more impressed with TD and Smitty's coaching staffs. Those are the keys to Ryan reaching his full potential.
