Guest Gritz
We're 6 days away from starting a whole new era of Falcon football. We should be talking about the match ups against the Lions and what we need to do to get that first all important win. I guarantee you that's what fans in New England, Indianapolis, Green Bay and New York are doing. What is this MB preoccupied with? A third string quarterback who would be embarrassed by the overzealous "supporters" he has on this MB.If the troll population continues to grow unabated on here the good posters who really want to have serious discussions about the Falcons and the NFL are going to become few and far between. Remarkable
What do you expect. These are the same people that spent days at a time arguing about Schaub. Some of them may be switching sides now, but it's still the same stupid argument involving a backup QB.
Trouble
the uga fans have been pulling this stuff for years now.... Every season its the same stuff here and has been for years. (insert name here) is the future, is a freak, will win a superbowl..... etc etc...If it was up to uga fans we would be in a bowl all right.... the suger bowl or orange bowl. Who cares about the super bowl.

ltstorm1
People talked about it a little, the main thing that was said was get pressure on Kitna, and our cornerbacks are going to have problems with Johnson and WIlliams.

Guest genn0226
Amen. This is ridiculous. I like DJ, but part of me wishes he had gotten cut so we wouldn't have all this drama. Well, who knows, maybe that would've been worse. Point is, this needs to stop. Fighting over someone who will not play a single down this season is stupid. They wanted their guy on their team...Ok, they got that. Now that he is on the team, will they start pulling for him to start? That's what worries me about these DJ fans on the message boards. You'd figure they would want him to start, it's only logical. You don't root for a player to be a clipboard holder. It's almost like the GB situation where Favre seemed to be bigger than the team...except in this case, we're talking about a scrub 3rd stringer. Now that's disturbing.

We have a nice home version of our game for you....
millenium falcon
assuming the pre-season is a viable sign of what to expect, i think we run the ball well, play great defense, and see matt ryan improve as the game progresses. ryan should be a good enough field general to be a difference maker in a tight game that i hope i can watch. consistentfalcon
I remember after the first preseason game he slipped up and said if we got rid of penalties we would do good. But when I called him out on it he turned sour again. not only did they not get rid of the penalties but they added turnover to assist in helping them lose.it wasnt a slip up it was a 1st impression, kinda like judging a book by its cover. gritz gets upset with me because im right about the foulcons more than he is , problem is i watch the games with my head not my heart. once he uses the right tools for the job his injury rate will go down(broken heart syndrome )
