Demetrius Dew
What were his reasons? or did he give any?I don't think he did, but it was speculated for about 2 months that he was going to de-commited. I believe he wanted to stay closer to home Virginia Tech maybe, but that could all change now with the fact the Tyrod Tyler is redshirting this season and if he stays redshirted this season. Shaud
**** Kevin Newsome might re-commit to Michigan after watching the QB we have play. Or after watching our pathetic OC.
clemumo82
Is this the guy with the ridiculous website that calls himself the best QB prospect and heaps accolades on himself? GL with him Michigan. Came across as a pompous *** to me with a dad that rivals Marv Marinovich. Threw his teammates under the bus for a loss on one update to his site. jgator21
Yes Tate is the one with the website. He has since changed it alot and really cooled it on the attitude. Him and McGuffie should be fun to watch playing together.

Demetrius Dew
Tate Forcier ArticleForcier doesn't lack confidence. After watching Michigan's loss, in which quarterbacks Nick Sheridan and Steven Threet both played and struggled, Forcier said he believes he can lead the team. "I thought the quarterbacks did pretty good for it being the first game," Forcier told Rivals.com. "There's a lot of things I saw from the sideline even though I know it's not the same from the sideline. All I can say is that offense isn't for them, but it's tailor-made for me." Forcier met early Sunday morning with Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez. He is Michigan's 17th verbal commitment to the 2009 freshman class. The Wolverines also received commitments over the weekend from running back Vincent Smith and linebacker Brandin Hawthorne, both from Pahokee, Fla. They were high school teammates of current U-M freshman receiver Martavious Odoms, who started Saturday.
