coastiemike
With Hurricane Gustav rolling in on Mon./Tues, and looking like it will hit as a category 4 (Katrina hit as a category 3), has anyone heard what the league plans to do about their first game against the Bucs on next Sunday?I have in-laws that arrived yesterday from New Orleans (Ireland Bayou/Venetian Isles area). They will be staying for an undetermined amount of time. They had no info on this and were curious.

oregonsfan
The last I heard this afternoon, they are saying the game will go on as scheduled and where scheduled. I think it is more likely they just don't know yet what they are going to do, and probably will stick with the "as scheduled" line until they do. stumpjumper
latest news is Gustav likely won't hit as a Cat. 4 now, it will likely be a Cat. 3 of mid power.

edZep
I kind of wonder about their future. They can't stay in NO if this keeps happening.Folks will move out of NO and tha Saints will lose their fanbase. Its unfortunate but I see the Saints somewhere else in 2-3 years.Maybe LA maybe San Antonio. nobkowski
My sister stayed through and I spoke to her last night. She said they weren't letting anyone in or out of the area and the power is OUT.I believe since the levees held up, the game will go on as scheduled
