goatehall
I have been making that trip for the last 3 years. It is good if you get a hotel near the Superdome so you can walk because the traffic is bad and the limited parking is expensive. Some people who do not stay in the area park at the casino because it is free. My favorite was the first game back in the dome after Katrina. Falcon Freddie
Word of warning: If you get lower level seats in the Superdome, remember that the stadium is multi-purpose - designed to accommodate both baseball and football. (Although to my knowledge no major league baseball game has ever been played there.) In its football configuration, the seat rows in the Superdome are a lot lower - and further from the field - than are similarly numbered rows in the Georgia Dome. In fact, the rows in the Superdome's lower level start with Row 6 or 7. Something to take into account when someone tries to sell you some tickets. goatehall
yeah i watched it on tv.......it was electric I dont care if you were the patriots,colts...or whoever, you were not winning that game!!It was electric. After Robin Roberts did the opening I did not hear a thing the rest of the night. I could not hear the referee call out the penalties, I could not hear the PA announcer, I could not even hear myself think.
