durrdbyrd
I'll admit that I actually liked the "Let's get it started" song. I guess they just seemed to do it for song long that in my mind, it became synonymous with Falcons football and being at the Dome. "Welcome to Atlanta" and "****'s Bells" were the same way. Moderator
Anyone who has been to the Dome this preseason knows what I mean. 60 seconds before kickoff, the Falcons have a new intro video and song. The Falcons thankfully put the "Let's Get It Started" to rest. The new video done to "Ladies and Gentlemen" absolutely gives me goosebumps every time I see it. (Ok, all four times.) I think it will help the Falcon fans third quarter hum drum. But I think that the Falcons are missing a golden opportunity to use it as a marketing tool. It would make a great intro to site for a week or two.The new countdown montage, set to Saliva's "Ladies and Gentlemen," will be available on the site next week.As will our new intro music, which is a surprise...we're debuting it at the home opener. It's got a killer voiceover, and even though other teams have used the song before, no one has had this particular take on it. I get chills when I hear it.New team, new attitude, new music.By the way, whoever mentioned Nonpoint, I can tell you that it's part of every pregame playlist, and we will not doubt use it in a Flash intro down the line (AF.com site Flash intro)...we'll wait for something appropriate. We had a site Flash intro using the Nonpoint song all prepared had we beaten the Eagles in the 2004 championship game. It was intense.--Moderator

infidel
Definitely better than last year, but completely blown out of the water by the graphics they got for the Thrashers. Wonder who put that package together.
