But hope always springs eternal at the beginning of the season for all teams.

Demetrius Dew
Yep it is.. I see michigan at 7-5 and one loss to utah.. the bill is in the mail.. Many people see it that way and that is fine you are entitled to your own opinion, but I will say this. Defense is our strongest unit as it returns 9 Starters. Last year our defenses weakness was the spread offense now having one of the masterminds behind the spread on our coaching staff and the defense seeing it day in and day out should help in that area a lot. Mike Barwis is one of the elite strength and conditioning coaches in the country and has helped Michigan become more lean and in better shape to play a full 4 quarters of football something that hurt us last year. stumpjumper
I know, we go from yelling at each other about what might happen to yelling at each other about what did happen. Man, I love it!
Xnex
Only 92 1/2 hours until my team opens the season against the Wolfpack. There's supposedly a 60% chance of rain that evening . I can honestly say that I have no idea what to expect from this game. State will be starting a freshman qb so our D may have a chance to rattle him a bit. But I'm holding my breath about our offense and its' potential.I noticed the other day while reading an article that Ellis Johnson our DC has tweaked the defense to play against spread offenses. I believe we are going to have 3 safeties on the field with one of them being Culliver whenever we play against the spread. That's kind of what I thought was going to happen in college football with the advent of the spread. MOre safeties and LB's with fewer linemen. Go Gamecocks. Remarkable
Look what Georgia did to Hawaii's best team. They have taken about 12 steps back this year. If Florida decides to run up the score they could reach 80.
