Bring It
I hope the departure of Horn won't change Roddy's "team" attitude. They were super close and I'm sure White will miss Horn's presence, especially during practice where Horn helped him greatly.Thoughts ?? Statick
Super close? That's the first time I'm hearing this news.Plus, I'm still looking for proof of anything Joe did for our receivers besides letting them see him not get open on the regular. Russdogg
Super close? That's the first time I'm hearing this news.not really, on MNF horn called roddy his "little brother" .... but no, it wont effect roddys game. We all saw this coming, Roddy included. bossFALCON™
roddy will be cool. i heard him say that joe did help his game and is/was a good mentor for him but right after that they asked about joe's situation and roddy said that joe would have to do whats best for him. roddy is going to go out there and make plays and try to be a leader for our team regardless. if he goes anywhere over 800 yds this year (i expect he'll have 1,000+ again) we need to sign him long term. roddy+boley
formul8or
This release will affect Roddy, hopefully by keeping him from doing stupid stuff like wearing "Free Mike Vick" shirts. We don't need to turn Roddy into a distraction.

innovativefx
If it does - Roddy is not the player we were hoping he was becoming.
Shaud
Nah Roddy probably knows this is a business and things like this happens. If they are close I'm sure they will keep in touch and Joe will give him a few pointers here and there.
durrdbyrd
I think Roddy has been in the league long enough now to know that it's a business and they have to do what's best for the team...and getting rid of Joe Horn is definitely what's best for the team. phattywankenobi
Roddy did give Horn credit for helping him but that is about it. I noticed the comments about Ryan due to his allegiance to Vick slowly transitioned into supporting Ryan. I believe he has now decided how to separate relationship with friends from relationships with a team and it's employer. At least I hope he does. I have been a big supporter of Roddy since he came into the league it's just his needs to catch up a little. I couldn't tell you how many people were looking at me in the Dome when he threw down his helmet as if I told him to do it just because I wear his jersey. nobkowski
I wonder if Roddy will get a t-shirt that reads "I miss ya Joe Horn" and show it off after a td. I think with Hall, Horn and Crumpler gone, he probably won't do something like that. At least I hope not.
Wild Bill
I think Roddy will slap Joe upside the head and say... "Wow, I could have had a V8"
