Dorsey sprains left knee during practice

Recommended Posts

RIVER FALLS, Wis. -- Kansas City top draft pick Glenn Dorsey sprained his left knee during practice Saturday.

The team said Dorsey will undergo an MRI to determine how bad the injury is. The injury happened when the defensive tackle collided with another lineman during practice. After Dorsey limped off the field, trainers wrapped his knee and put ice on it. He then went to the locker room and wasn't seen for the rest of practice.

Yeah, hope he's alright, and yeah this could happen to anyone but it makes it look like Smith and Dimitroff made the right choice.

I hope he is ok too, I want him on the field when we beat them! no excuses!

The thing that keeps banging in my head is how many times we see players hold out and miss training camp, then get injured when they show up at the last minute and possibly in less than optimum condition. Not specifically Dorsey since his holdout went right to the 11th hour, but I wonder what the players think after that happens.

is injury really worth the holdout?
