The Big 12 Conference office announced the preseason selections on Thursday morning in advance of next week’s Big 12 Media Day in Kansas City. A senior from North Hollywood, Calif., Lucky is the leading returning rusher in the Big 12 Conference. In 2007, Lucky ran for 1,019 yards and nine touchdowns. An all-purpose threat, Lucky also set a Nebraska record with 75 receptions for 705 yards and another three touchdowns. He finished the year ranked 31st nationally in all-purpose yards and topped the century mark in that category in 10 of 12 games. Lucky was a second-team All-Big 12 pick following last season. Lucky enters his senior year with 1,876 career rushing yards and 19 rushing touchdowns.
