Too many Led Zep albums. They should have replaced one with a Rolling Stones album or something.

Why? In my opinion all of those Zep albums are better than the Stones albums. You could easily have replaced Faith with Sticky Fingers though.

This list sucks for 3 reasons:

1. They have the Black Album on it and no other Metallica albums, even though Ride the Lightning, ...And Justice For All, Kill Em All, and Master of Puppets were all LIGHT YEARS ahead of the Black Album. But, that just goes to show you what going mainstream can do for you.

2. Guns n' Roses is on this list

3. Nirvana is on this list.

Wow, I didn't even see that Nevermind made the list.

The Chronic was a classic album I still listen to it today.

Lil Ghetto Boy is my favorite song off of it.

I think "listenability over time" should be a key factor in rating the greatest albums. And for it to be considered a greatest album there can't be any "bad" tracks.

I'll agree with some of the previous posters:

Born in the USA does not belong.

Nevermind does not belong.

Faith does not belong.

Appetite for Destruction does not belong (although I really, really liked that album).

Also agree that The Who and possibly Stones belongs on the list somewhere. Don't know enough about rap to say what albums should potentially be on the list, but I've at least heard many times over the years that The Chronic was great in that genre.

If you're going to add rap albums:

1. Raising **** - paved the way.

2. Takes a Nation of Millions OR Fear of a Black Planet - Toss-up

3. Doggystyle/The Chronic - Another toss-up

4. Niggaz4Life - Classic

Outside of that, I see George Michael and Van Halen, and not The Who? Also, Pearl Jam's "Ten" has to be on the list, as should the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.

Nevermind is overrated, No License to ILL or Paul Boutique or 3 ft high and rising... poo poo on this list

The Beastie Boys shouldn't even be allowed to read the list, but I always thought "Check Your Head" was their big achievement.

Edit: Hey, my posts are back!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Reguardless of what your opinion of the Beastie Boys is, they are the most important musical group since the Beatles, end of story. Speaking of which, were the Beatles on that list? I can't remember now. Oh, and I also agree that NeverMind is not that good. I'd even go so far as to say the one of the most overrated albums of all time.
