Which position requires the most depth?

I did look at the numbers with the thought that we might have to dress an extra DT every game because we have so little talent and experience. The sacrifice might be Adam Jennings/punt returner-kick-off returner or take advantage of Hutchins versatility and go with 1 less DB

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe only 47 are active on game day.

it's 45 and I don't think the third QB counts for that total

There really isn't a lack of depth at any position!

DL 14 teams usually keep 9 or 10

LB 9 teams usually keep 5 or 6

DB 14 teams usually keep 9 or 10

Sp Teams 4 teams usually keep 3

OL 14 teams usually keep 9 or 10

WR/TE 16 teams usually keep 8 or 9

RB/FB 7 teams usually keep 5

QB 4 teams usually keep 2 or 3

The problem is the QUALITY at each position for ALL depth levels

It has to be bench warmer because 53-33 = 20 all day long.  :w00t:

Seriously, most teams are deeper at DL and have on average 10 positions dedicated (some for 3rd down rotation).

Indy is typical:

Correct. 46 dress, 45 are active.
