MURRIETA, Calif.    Comedian Andy **** was arrested Wednesday morning in Murrieta, Calif., for investigation of drug use and sexual battery after he allegedly pulled down a teenager's top, police said.

The former co-star of the TV sitcom "NewsRadio" was released from a detention center after posting $5,000 bail.

Cops arrested ****, 42, just before 2 a.m. in the parking lot near a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant.

According to the Murrieta Police Department's Web site, police responded to call at the restaurant to investigate an intoxicated male at the location urinating outside the bar and causing a disturbance.

Officers arrived and stopped a truck which was leaving the location. Witnesses told the officers that one of the truck occupants had sexually battered a 17-year-old outside Buffalo Wild Wings.

The 17-year-old female and several witnesses told police that as **** left the establishment, he approached two females outside the bar. **** walked up to the 17-year-old female, grabbed her tank top and bra and pulled them down and exposed her breasts, they said. He then was escorted by several of his friends to a truck which was stopped by arriving police officers in a nearby Sam s Club a few moments later.

According to the Web site, **** was in the front passenger seat of the truck. A curbside lineup was conducted and **** was identified by the 17-year-old female, as well as a witness. During a search, marijuana and Xanax were found in **** s pants pockets.

The site also says that **** was extremely intoxicated at the time of his arrest.

**** was booked at Southwest Detention Center in French Valley on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor sexual battery and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

An employee in ****'s manager's office told FOXNews.com that ****'s manager would respond later when he had more information.

**** has a reputation for crude behavior. He has been reported to have exposed himself to audiences at least twice. He was forcibly removed from the set of the show "Jimmy Kimmel Live" last year after he repeatedly touched guest Ivanka Trump without her permission.

Also last year, **** was cited in Columbus, Ohio, for urinating on the sidewalk. A comedy club owner in the city said the actor also made inappropriate comments while onstage, groped patrons, took women into the men's room and urinated on the floor and on at least one person.

In 1999, **** was arrested for possession of cocaine and marijuana after driving his car into a telephone pole in Hollywood. He pleaded guilty but the charges were dismissed after he went into a diversion program.

Drugs are ruining his "career". He's had so many public disturbances. I think that one with Jon Lovitz was the biggest since Jon blames him for the death of Phil Hartman. After reading the flucked up crap that **** said, I'd have punched him, too.

An excerpt from said skirmish: "IT was fight night at an L.A. comedy club last week when Jon Lovitz roughed up Andy **** over the murder of their "Saturday Night Live" colleague, Phil Hartman.

Laugh Factory owner Jamie Masada, who witnessed the assault, said, "Jon picked Andy up by the head and smashed him into the bar four or five times, and blood started pouring out of his nose." Lovitz told Page Six, "All the comedians are glad I did it because this guy is a [bleep]hole."

Lovitz and **** have been at loggerheads since a 1997 Christmas party at Hartman's house, five months before his troubled wife Brynn flipped out, fatally shooting Hartman, then killing herself. "Andy was doing cocaine, and he gave Brynn some after she had been sober for 10 years. Phil was furious about it - and then five months later he's dead," said Lovitz, adding that when he filled in on Hartman's "Newsradio" sitcom, "I told Andy, 'I wouldn't be here now if you hadn't given Brynn that cocaine.' "

Last year, Lovitz related, a drunken **** strolled up to his table at Ago in West Hollywood, rudely downed his guests' peach liqueur drinks, and "looked at me and said, 'I put the "Phil Hartman hex" on you - you're the next one to die.' I said, 'What did you say?' and he repeated it. I wanted to punch his face in, but I don't hit women."

I loved NewsRadio...

So did I.

Phil Hartman and Dave Foleywere puregenius on that show.

Yea, I loved Hartman, up until **** got his wife (who had been clean for several years) hooked on coke again and she killed him in a drugged out haze.

Not excusing her in any way, but this little piece of excrement played his role in Hartman's death as well.

Dude. The only one who said that was Jon Lovitz. Joe Rogan and David Spade said Brynn was completely ape#####. And that Phil hardly ever had any fun outside of the sets he was working on because she was a manic depressive at home, and completely confrontational. I also dont think that coke makes you more likely to do a murder/suicide. Her problems were much deeper than drug use.

True enough, I am basing that off an interview with Lovitz, but sorry to say a return to cocaine does exacerbate a depressed and disturbed addict into an even more unstable state.

To be fair, she as also on Zoloft at the time.

Still, she wasn't on drugs for 10 years until **** helped to push her off the wagon.
