Looking at his weight, is he a project SS??I'm pretty sure when he was drafted it said "LB/SS" or something like that. I'm pretty sure he's played some safety but we have him listed as a LB only. Sims was an athletic freak, and most probably the best LB'er in the country with A.J Hawk when drafted, not considered by many draft heads as a reach. Sims play is comparable to Derrick Brooks and is already in the leadership group at Detroit... His bench reps are similar to Sims, but thats where it starts and ends... He may play faster than his 40 time suggests, but i cant really see him making it as an NFL WLB... Special Teams ace like Beck anyone?? Hotlanta Steve
I don't think it matters whether he's a LB or a SS, because he was probably drafted for special teams purposes. I think he and Kroy Biermann will be some really good special teams players.

I think he and Kroy Biermann will be some really good special teams players. With most NFL teams keeping only 24 defensive players on the 53 man roster, these two better be able to do more than special teams, As for James there will probably be at most 6 LBs so he better be ready to step in and play not just do special teams.
