OMAHA, Neb. - The University of Georgia had its College World Series baseball game postponed until Saturday as inclement weather altered the tournament schedule Thursday.

Georgia was to play Stanford today at 2 p.m. today. They will now play at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

North Carolina and LSU were forced to suspend Thursday night's game after rain and lightning delayed the game for three hours. Fresno State awaits the winner of that game, which will also be played on Saturday.

If Georgia wins Saturday, the Bulldogs advance to the best-of-three championship series, which begins on Monday. If Georgia loses Saturday, the Bulldogs play Stanford in a deciding game on Sunday, at either 2 p.m. or 7 p.m., for the right to play in the championship series.
