HoodRulezApply
http://www.ajc.com/sports/content/printedi...nid=sprt062008eI feel bad for him. His wife has a stable job at Emory and there is a chance that he may be on the cutting block. If he goes, they are gonna have to pack up and head to another city. I hope he gets the #3 spot just on g.p.
Marvel Falcon
while im not exactly thrilled about his play, its hard to hate a guy like that
Colt Brennan
Its a sad story, and there are a lot of stories like this in the NFL. I'm sure spending the first year of your marriage away is probably really hard. But at the same time, this is the life he chose. If he works hard hopefully the guy will get his stability in Atlanta. bozoatl
Regarding the famous "Falcon Filter", Joey is the kind of guy you want on this team. He is intelligent, articulate, has yet to throw anyone under the bus (even Petrino, the day BP named Leftwich the starter and Joey found out about it in the PC). Harrington is a class guy. But what he's shown thus far, with all his teams, lends to the position that he may not be a good enough QB to stick with the team. IMHO, I think that between him and DJ, Joey will be retained as the 3rd QB. I could be wrong.......But I doubt it :P
GEORGIAfan
dude gets millions i doubt his wife has to do anything. if he was smart with his money he would buy a nice 300+ house in metro atl, let his wife work, and find him a job. DJ Shockley gots the job on lock. the NFL isnt for every1. i cant believe yall feel sorry for him. id love to be in the NFL. i dont care if ive started or now, plus you know he has millions of dollars, unless he wasted it. i doubt his wife has to work. Colt Brennan
I do believe Mr.Blank owns the Georgia Force as well. Thats a Arena Football team and push come to shove if he wants to remain in football and in Atlanta maybe that is an option for him.

BruceReville
I'll sympathize over a millionaire (especially one paid to play a game) once I earn my 1st million -- last time I checked I had $800.00 in the bank and bills due -- guess it won't be anytime soon. :P

It's 2008, and the fact we are discussing a woman having a profession (or not) based on whether she has to/wants to work contingent on her husband's income/profession is truly amazing. GEORGIAfan
if i got married to a female athlete and she was making millions, i wouldnt think that my paycheck mattered either. its because they are married, not because its his wife. they are considered 1 person.
