Years/Total deal/Signing Bonus

Cause i dont know how they will place his value. I'm thinking 15mm guaranteed 35 million dollar deal, but really he is almost able to write his own check because he changes games. What do you guys think?

that would be scary to see him in the slot with that kind of speed and elusiveness

not really, he reminds me of what we tried to do with Deion

well im not old enough to know what that was but i think hester has better vision than deion
that's punt returns. what does that have to do with route running ?

In a foot race, I would take Deion in hid prime anyday over Hester

you throw him the ball on a screen and it takes vision, vision is more than just on punt returns.

Who Really Runs WR screens? That's College, Unless you're Steve Smith. Plus you really think a DB is going to want to get beat by Hester. The only thing hester has is speed.

It's easy to have vision, when everyone is downfield blocking for you. BTW what's makes hester look so good is that the only time he's on the field is on a KR/PR.  He didn't really play WR. Really doesn't have the hands for WR. Deion, on the other hand, didn't have great hands either, but He played DB every down, and PR/KR

they tried using him asa wr.......... he was not very good........he was not a very good DB either.

He is basically Micheal Bates with dreds...............not that there is anything wrong with that, bates like Hester is a tremendous returner and found a great nitch for himself.

but to this point Hesters ONLY value is as a returner

deion could run fast, i seen him on a few occasions run right away from a tackle that he shoulda made 15 yards earlier

Hester had a td on a bomb last year.He can improve. He has vision and speed.Devin can change how a defense lines up.

Hester actually did not do bad in his first year playing WR considering it was his first year.  Not to mention the QB was Rex Grossman.   They are playing him again this year at WR.   The simple fact that teams know what he can do with the ball in his hands opens up the offense for Chicago. Him taking hits is another subject though.....can he do that for a full season being since he rarely gets touched on returns.

I'd take Billy Whiteshoes Johnson (In his prime) over Hester any day of the week!

You would lose.....with style!
