With me being an Auburn fan I am excited about this.  He is a pretty good player and hopefully will make the team.

Brock will try to earn a spot on the Falcons roster.
Brock said he will sign the free agent deal Wednesday and report to rookie training camp the weekend of May 10.

"I'm anxious, excited, nervous - all those balled in together," said Brock. "Rookie camp, nothing is really promised to you. You have to go and make the best of your opportunity.

"It's all about catching someone's eye and impressing them. You just have to go in there hungry and ready to work."

Three former Tigers accepted free agent deals shortly after the NFL Draft Sunday. Fullback Carl Stewart signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, defensive tackle Josh Thompson with the St. Louis Rams and tight end Cole Bennett with the Houston Texans.

Wide receiver Prechae Rodriguez didn't sign a free agent deal but did earn a tryout with the N.Y. Jets on May 2.

"They called and asked if I would be willing to come up and tryout for free agency and I accepted their offer," said Rodriguez. "I'll be flying out Thursday. I'm excited."

Cornerback Zach Gilbert is still hopeful of earning a tryout in the next couple of weeks.

Five total Auburn players were drafted this past weekend with defensive end Quentin Groves going to the Jacksonville Jaguars and cornerback Pat Lee to the Green Pay Packers - both in the second round.

Defensive tackle Pat Sims was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the third round, cornerback Jonathan Wilhite by the New England Patriots in the fourth round and offensive tackle King Dunlap by the Philadelphia Eagles in the seventh round.

Auburn has now had at least four players drafted in five consecutive years. Since 2004, Auburn has had 23 players drafted, including 11 in the first two rounds.

He's good.  Not elite, but just a solid football player.  He could give Darren Stone a run for his money as Milloy's backup.  I'd love for him to make the team, nice to have a few tigers wearing a falcons uniform.  He made some pretty big hits in his career, and is good in coverage.

He runs a 4.4 40

That is great we can put him and Thomas Brown(4.37) back to return kicks.  Get rid of Jennings

Brock wasn't a returner at Auburn.  Didn't Brown return kicks at UGA though?  I agree, Jennings has to go and Dimitroff said they weren't considering Douglas at returner right now.

Was he the one that laid out Sean Bailey or Mohammed Massquoi in 2006?
