Panthers agree to terms on one-year deal with veteran Walker

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Carolina Panthers addressed their lack of depth on the defensive line by agreeing Monday with veteran free-agent Darwin Walker on the terms of a one-year deal.

The 6-foot-3, 294-pound defensive tackle was let go by Chicago in February when the Bears declined to pick up a $5.2 million contract option. Agent Al Irby said the Panthers and Atlanta Falcons had shown interest, but Walker wanted to play close to his boyhood home of Walterboro, S.C.

also went to nfl.com to see free agents and saw that they still have Rod Coleman on our team is there something we dont know

Good thing we drafted Dorsey!

He's gonna make Abraham and J Anderson excel like never before.

Plus we got 3 LBers in the draft.

Our 'D' should gel and easily be top 10 and feared league wide.
