FalcFan12
Who are some good ones in this draft?
Serge Storms
I'm of the opinion that we should draft both Dennis Dixon and Josh Johnson, just to spite Matt Ryan personally, and move one of them to slot receiver.

ki45toryu
It all depends on the offense we are going to run...Wes Welker/Roscoe Parrish would be worthless here except as a reliable returners.Someone like Patrick Crayton or Bryant Johnson would offer a little more flexibility at the #3 spot in the offense we are going to run. That all being said, Laurent Robinson could easily be that guy if he isnt the #2 this year...I don't think Jenkins is explosive enough. texasbirdfan
we got a need? well, heck yea. Let's go down to the Walmart and just pick one of those up.
Serge Storms
As no one on this board has a sense of humor or wishes to enjoy the MB anymore, I will say that we have Jenkins and Jennings and with all of our problems one of them will have to do as our third receiver next year. Let's go down to the Walmart and just pick one of those up.Funny, I don't think we can pick any kind of offense in the NFL where you don't need a slot reciever....it's fine to be a running team but if you aren't balanced and capable of running 3 WR sets at times then the ferocious NFL defenses will shut down your run game. Even a strong running team like Tenn or PITT with Mularkey used plenty of 3 WR sets.

3rd and short
I wouldn't mind seeing TD pick Jacob Hester in the late 4th or early 5th. -- He's the type player you could play almost anywhere and he will give 110%.

Jenkins and Jennings as 3 and 4 will do fine. Horn will be gone, so draft a need.

blackandred
I think we already have one. Jennings is quite fast and doesn't drop Balls. He never dissapointed as WR.Returning Kicks is another Story.
splitstream
Why would we need a slot receiver when we're not gonna run 3 and/or 4 wide receiver sets?
muskokas finest ©
Welker suited the NE offense, but not ours. He's no blocker and we won't be in shotgun formation on 1st/2nd down, so those little pitch and catch/run routes are not timed with a 3/5 step drop

Patch
unless we have Randy Moss and Tom Brady coming here next year I don't think any slot receiver on the falcons is going to look much like Wes Welker.
