Big Duke 6
The 3rd overall pick is a huge deal.Defensive tackles usually dont have a long shelf life so with such a high pick what type of career would justify the pick?12 years and 5 probowls?D tackles dont get a lot of tackles so what would be the measure of impact? Joremarid
based off of the 42.5 million that joe thomas got last year at number 3, dorsey would have to be the best DT in the league because he would be the highest paid DT in the league. Big Duke 6
So he should be the best Dtakle within 3 years or so?
Scott24Falcons
People like to look at Dorsey's collegiate stat-sheet to get a gauge on just how good he was. By looking at his stats, he doesn't seem special at all. However, the impact he has on a defense is unbelievable. He makes everyone around him better. When Dorsey was out of LSU's lineup, their defense was simply not the same. I think you'll not only see Dorsey go to the Pro-Bowl annually, but you will also see a immense growth by Jamaal Anderson, and everybody on our defense for that matter. jidady
Individual stats for him are less important. What matters is that he should be the anchor in an upper quarter defense. If we're not top 8 in the league three years from now, he's not done what we had hoped he would do.
red2play
Dude took a team and put them on his shoulders. They looked COMPLETELY different while he was in the game. He played in the SEC and he was a MONSTER. No Doubt he'll be the best DT to come out in yrs.

Abe
If he has 10 plus stuffs at the line and a few sacks im happy. If Jamal has 8 sacks partly off of what Dorsey produces he is worth every penny!

foreveriloveatlanta
I don't watch, know, or care a lot about college ball, but I did see Dorsey play a couple times last year and I was very impressed. On one play I saw him reach out with his left arm with a double-team all over him and clothesline the RB. The dude looks crazy good from what I've seen of him. papeezi
I THINK HE WILL BE INSTANT IMPACT AND WILL BE IN THE PRO BOWL ANNUALLY.. WATCHING HIM REMINDS ME OF ALBERT HAYNESWORTHTHE SCARY THING IS THAT HE WILL ONLY B A ROOKIE AND PRODUCTION WILL FOLLOW. Ryne O'Brien
i think dorsey will be a stud. impact player from day one. and all he is going to do is make jamaal better. i hope we can get frank okam later in the draft too. i know he slacks off and is lazy at times, but we could rotate him in and out and keep him fresh. sometimes he looks unstopable. abe-okam-dorsey-jamaal that would be amazing in my opinion.
