Farmer
SI.com's truth and rumors is stating that Urlacher's agent has asked Chicago to seek a trade for Brian Urlacher, who is disgruntled about his contract. I highly doubt any team is willing to pay him more than he's already getting after coming off a serious neck injury. Just curious what's everyone's thoughts. And as I mentioned, I'm not suggesting the Falcons try to trade for him. This is going to sound crazy, but I'd rather have Brooking in the middle. Obviously, if he did get Urlacher, that would move Brooking to the weak side, where he's better suited, but a liability in pass coverage. But this would give us two LB's, outside their prime and overpayed.
Jp7833
I dont know why you wouldnt want to trade for him. I would be overly joyous to see Urlacher in a Falcon Uni
BlacksburgHokie
He's got the size and skills to create serious mismatches all over the field, but injuries are definitely a concern with him. It would be interesting to see what someone of his skillset who turns 30 before the start of the season would command in terms of compensation (both moneywise and pick/player wise)... d-rod
That really is ridiculous. It seems like every single player wants a new contract this year...

I would be overly joyous to see Urlacher in a Falcon UniLet me list the reasons:1. He's 302. His last contract was something like 9 yrs 59 mil, and he wants more.3. He has had some very serious back and neck injuries, so he's damaged goods.Yes, he is a Hall of Fame LB, but he's not going to be worth the $$ he wants. Farmer
da snowman (4/18/2008)4 years 20 mil is what i would give him...with incentives. If we could get him for that, then I say it's a no brainer, but there's no way that's what he's looking at getting. I'm positive that if that's his best offer, he'd just stay in Chicago.
