platonic
Dorsey is probably more of a natural UT in this system, but if he could play NT that would allow us to start Babs at UT. Babs imo is by far the best tackle on the roster as of today, and a JA-Babs-Dorsey-Abe DLine would be pretty **** good. If Dorsey can't play NT I think we need to draft one in the second round. Thoughts?

papeezi
I THINK WITH 10-15 POUNDS HE CAN PLAY BOTH. BUT AS OF NOW HE WOULD BE A UT!!! HE CAN PLAY NT BUT WOULDNT BE AS DOMINANT AS HE WILL BE PLAYING UT
ignorant_icarus
It would be such a waste of his skill set to play NT.
DefenseWinzCliche
You dont draft a phenom UT and tell him to put on 10-15 lbs and play NT... Where do you guys get these ideas? I just really dont get it.
platonic
So what's the solution at NT? I don't think Trey Lewis is starting material, especially with the injury concerns.

snicker
Dorsey needs to play UT. We should re-sign Grady Jackson to play NT

platonic
It looks like the Dolphins will pass on Jake Long. Parcels gave him a low-ball contract offer (less than Russell got last year) and a deadline to sign it, and I doubt he'll sign. The Rams might select him at 2 but I see them going DE. Leaving Jake Long to us! I don't like Dorsey in the top five. Too much of an injury risk and won't be able to dominate physically in the NFL. Mr. Offseason
i think the ideal DT depth chart for us would look like this with dorsey at #3:UT- Dorsey/Babineaux/MooreheadNT- Bryant/Moore/Lewisbryant as in red bryant at #68. that would be fabulous. 6 deep at DT and ideally 5 deep at DE. Are you kidding? That's the biggest red flag he has as a prospect. Dorsey has been playing hurt for two seasons. And he won't be physically dominate in the NFL because he's not top notch athlete. A little light in the britches, not as strong in the upper or lower body as a guy like Ellis, although he's more instinctual and has a better motor. I don't think Trey Lewis is starting material, especially with the injury concerns.just because we dont have a good starting nt doesnt mean you go and take a great player out of position as dorsey would be at nt.next we'll be moving blaylock to center because mclure sucks.or better yet lets move chris houston to fs!!yeah these are all great ideas!! What player doesn't go through a season without being hurt? The key thing is that he hasn't missed a SINGLE game through all of the "injuries" he's suffered. That red flag is being brought up by mid-round teams who have a pipe-dream of Dorsey falling to them. I also don't know how he's "light in the britches"..the dude is bigger than Rod Coleman, Tommie Harris, and a slew of other DTs.
