rollow lawson
spending alot of time with Coach Smith evaluating players. Meet after each practice. Not revealing any draft secrets. Good core groups of QBs. Each Qb has strengths and weaknesses. Really likes the crop of QBs. Alot of them can be good players.Says Brohm will do good in the league.(Lady just brought her baby into my office, sorry)Redman did a nice job last year. Coaches feel strong about his character and leadership. Thinks he will help out whoever they bring in.Blank hasn't stepped over the line as far as personnel. Only gives input when asked.Players need to know football is about having fun, being aggressive, and competitive.
rollow lawson
On Mike Smith, outstanding defensive mind, vested interest in the scouting process. Compares his relationship to Smith with Bellichek and Pioli. On Deangelo Hall, said Hall is a good player, but it was best for him to move on. Sat down 3 or 4 times with Hall. Asked about Lito Sheppard, still stacking the draft board. If he doesn't feel comfortable with the corners in the draft, something might be done.Asked about Dorsey',will be successful at either 34 or 43Long is a potential offensive line centerpiece for years to come. rollow lawson
with all that said, Tim Hasselbach thinks that were going with Ryan at #3.Adam Schein thinks (I do too) that Dimitroff is looking at that second tier of QBs. More enamored with these Qbs. Didn't have much to say about Ryan (smokescreen???)Also, I believe the way he answered the Lito Sheppard question, something is cooking with the eagles. Schein caught him off guard with that question. TD had anticipated the Qb, Long, and Dorsey questions and was prepared to answer. They got him with the "Lito" inquiry. B_ELLIS24
Sheppard might be a possibility with our bottom 2nd round pick or our 3rd round pick, the one that we can trade.
rollow lawson
B_ELLIS24 (4/16/2008)Sheppard might be a possibility with our bottom 2nd round pick or our 3rd round pick, the one that we can trade. This might be a draft day deal. I hope it's our 3rd rounder though. I don't know if Lito is worth a second. If the Eagles want a second rounder, I say use that pick and grab Antoine Cason. Not that I would mind though, the guy is going to be a baller.

DerrtyBirdGirl
Im actually for getting Lito Sheppard. For a 2nd though? I'll pass. But our low 3rd round and maybe a 5th next year should do it. He has upside and could be a good replacement for Hall.

rollow lawson
By second tier, I'm thinking Brohm, Henne, Flacco, and Woodson. You have to put Booty and Josh Johnson in that group as well because they worked them out.

And he'll be a pretty good one IMO, but he's not fit for this type of offense.
