thefisherman
a much improved OL, a much better DL, better safeties/corners. One thing I know for sure is that Mr. Blank made it known to the world that Vick is not going anywhere. Blank stated, "once a man has served his debt to society, he should be given another chance". So, forget about what some wish would happen to Vick, but just think about what the owner has said. BruceReville
If the Front Office brings him back it's their call - but with state trial and NFL suspension still hanging over his head I have to ask do you really want to wait another year possibly 3 for 1 player to come back to put a system in place? I mean what if the system they implement works w/o #7 and the QB is sucessful? Bench him just because 1 player returns even though the current QB is possibly winning? If you want to gauge how Vick's return from NFL suspension is going to go then wait and see how PacMan's request for reinstatement goes - he has been suspended for over a year w/o 1 day spent in jail - if he is denied or has to serve an extended suspension then you can pretty much hang it up for Vick to return immediately after being released from prison. falconva7
Honestly I wouldn't mind, but it's up to the FO at this point. I think Goodell will suspend him for a year once he gets out of jail though.
seafalconsfan
falconva7 (4/16/2008)Honestly I wouldn't mind, but it's up to the FO at this point. I think Goodell will suspend him for a year once he gets out of jail though.personally I disagree. I know Vick is one of the first in Goodell's attempt to clean up the NFL but I believe that Vick recieved a greater punishment than deserved. If Pacman is traded and reinstated then Vick will be reinstated when he leaves the Pen. I think Goodell likes set examples but he will ultimately believe in player rehab. Shouldn't you be on the Patriots' fan site. On the 19th of March you said that you were no longer supporting this team. Magic Man
stop being delusional...vick is going to be garbage when he gets back, if he makes it back to the league. Let's wait for the state charges, and the suspension to be levied before pronouncing him the messiah of the Falcons again...please

Bill Ferguson
As much as they probably really like Vick, my guess is that Turner and Norwood don't want to go to prison to play with him.Lest anyone forget - he's still in jail, and has State of Va charges pending. He is out of football. Just like his brother.
thefisherman
falconva7 (4/16/2008)Honestly I wouldn't mind, but it's up to the FO at this point. I think Goodell will suspend him for a year once he gets out of jail though.Remember I said this. Vick will only get a 4 game suspension. The same 4 games Mr. Blank was gonna give him at first. First of all, Vick didn't have any criminal records before this happened, and second, Vick makes the NFL too much money. Goodell and Blank are true business men first. No way they will let this gold mine pass them by.
