UGA_DAWG46
Redman is starting. He took most of his snap with the first team.

LADBABY
Joey's going to beat out Redman if it is a faircontest. His tone of voice was to keep from goingabsolutely ape at some of the questions thoseguys were insulting him with. It will be an interestingyear. I can get behind this coaching staff prettyeasy. With Petrino I just saw a guy who tookan interview while Tuberville was still in place. Itsaid something about him that said "You betterwatch your back". Joey found that out the hard way. Tetsujin-28
Redman should start. Harrington is soft as baby doo-doo.

Besides, hes the only QB we have that can take a hit and stay healthy.:P
bossFALCON™
i believe redman is the starter as of now, but the other qb's will have a chance to compete for the job, so basically it is not set in stone. smith will start the player that performs the best and gives the falcons the best chance to win football games. DeBird
I think Harrington has never been as bad as everyone likes to say he is. He was Captain of a trainwreck right out of the gate. The whole Petrino episode still makes me sick. I don't know a lot who would have done really well given the atmosphere that was hovering over this franchise. I do feel Coach Smith is giving hope for a completely new outlook. Whoever is QB will only be temporary. We cant replace all the pieces of the puzzle till the right one comes along. Joey or Redman; I really don't feel like there would be a LOT of difference, but I do agree Joey got the shaft under Petrino and they should all start on a level field. I do feel really good about Mike Smith and company. I think he is pretty stern, while still having the respect of the players. It won't happen overnight, but we are in for better times! SaintsH8
Harrington sucks. He is scared to throw the ball and was the main reason why our offense sucked. When Redman came in the offense looked a lot better.
