rexfalcon
There is no way that Blank is going to let a first year GM along with a rookie coach make that decisions. He will consult with Arcosi after obtaining intel from TD. Whoever we pick will be Blank's decision. It was blank and mckay that overulled Petrino and took Jamaal over Okoye last year. DefenseWinzCliche
Actually. We picked Jamal because we though we had a stud UT, but a couple of hours after we made our pick, Rod Coleman came into Flowery Branch and informed them that he had blown out his quad on a Jet Ski (still dont know how the ##### you do that). Knight of God
That was a bad decision, but you can see that this is exactly why we need to let TD do his job instead of of Blank and McKay making the pick.

I totally agree, I love Blank as an owner, but he is just that. He hired TD to do a job and he should let him do it. If not, just hire your self to do it AB. Stay out of it please! Sun Tzu 7
Let me say this.... if Blank is making the #3 pick then don't expect anything to change...BECAUSE this is the same guy that hired Petirno, fired Reeves, hired McKay, hired Mora, traded a first rounder for Peerless Price, let Vick run wild, etc...We don't want Blank making any more football decisions... loozianafalcon
I said this earlier -- I like Mr. Blank and all, and I think he has the best interest of the team in mind, BUT RELEASE THE HOUNDS AND LET 'EM HUNT, ARTHUR! You just stay in the lodge by the fire and sip on some Cristal champagne.:P

rexfalcon
Birds of Prey,Please refer to the John Clayton article that AB is pushing TD to draft Dorsey. This is confirmed by Peter King stating that Falcon management flew to Baton Rouge on Saturday.John Clayton is just throwing stuff out there and hoping it sticks. I heard what he said about Blank and the draft on Saturday on ESPN radio when he told Denny Green's boy that "Who runs the Atlanta Falcons?" When Denny's boy said TD, Clayton told him Blank did and that "he's gonna select Ryan at 3. I thought he was full of #####. Blank has his opinion and I'm sure it'll be asked of him, but in the end, TD is making the final call. What's Blank gonna do if TD doesn't take Ryan; fire him on the spot?
