A mock with no crazy trades....just ball players for picks...no storytelling

i agree ,but the value at qb is low in this draft...no need to over pay for position.

many of the character issues are blown out of proportion by the media, we all know that.

we have to take that with a grain of salt.  they said those things about Dan Marino and he slipped to about #28 in the draft.

I saw them play all year, they are ballers.

Dixon is as good a QB as anyone going in the second round. None of them accomplished more than he did...as a matter of fact, none of the QBs in this years draft even played for a national championship in 4 years but Flacco and Josh Johnson.

This is a crop of career backups...can be solid, but not championship QBs.

There won't be one person that hears Matt Ryan or Brian Brohm names called going to a team and city, that says "Now we are going to the superbowl, we have matt ryan or brian brohm" It just won't happen. because everyone knows that these guys will be good QBs not great ones. honestly in my opinion, Chris Redman is better than all of the Qbs in the draft.  Joey Harrington is as good as any of them. and both of them can play now and are ready to go.

We have holes all over the defense. DT, MLB,CB we need starters on defense.

trubirdfan4life, pretty nice job, althought not surprisingly, I find myself

agreeing with grendel and DrDetecto.

Also, I'd replace Caleb Campbell with Marcus Griffin (Texas) and I'd replace 7th round

of KR and OLB with Kevin Robinson (Utah State) and Thomas Williams (USC).

I'm not as negative on Frank Okam as some and the thought of him and Dorsey

anchoring our defensive line is something I could get used to. Likewise, I think

the thought of Barry Richardson, Sam Baker, and considering the amount of experience

they both have against top completion. Add Chilo Richal at a guard, that'd

be awesome These picks could pay off for the next 6 to 10 years.

What's with all the bashing of Frank Okam??!! He's freakin 330. Name one NT that's around that weight in the NFL that you consider to have a "good" work ethic. Grady Jackson? Shaun Rogers? Alan Branch?

He may be "lazy" but does that mean he's not a good football player? All lazy players need are good coaches and an incentive laden contract.

He showed up to the combine like 25-30 lbs over his playing weight... So over the course of 4-6 weeks he added 25-30 lbs of fat and didn't get in shape for the combine... the biggest job interview of his life.

If he showed up 10 lbs under his playing weight and ran a 4.9 / 40 with more reps of the 225 lb bar, he would have moved up in the rankings, instead of down. He cost himself millions of dollars because he likes to eat more than he likes to train.

Well he did lose like 15 pounds for his pro-day so...that kinda made up for it. And at least he repped in the 30s. Red Bryant only put up 20 reps.
