He will be fine.  If we draft Dorsey, Jamaal will be a pro-bowler.

Are you banking on the fact that teams would have to double both Abraham and Dorsey leaving no one to block Anderson? :P

He sure didn't show that he could beat people one on one last year.  Not saying he can't improve with another off season and TC, but comment like pro-bowler would make people scratch their head.

The Patriots passed on Tom Brady 5 times and the other 32 teams all passed on his as well.

Joe Montana was a 3rd round draft choice that all teams passed on.

All teams pass on what turn out to be a better player than they picked a a given selection, shoulda, coulda, woulda is a completely useless argument. when it comes to the draft.

This problem applies to all NFL teams every single year. To single out the Falcons as being different is non productive.

Yep.  With a full year under his belt he should be able to handle things a bit better. He was doubled early last year until teams figured he wasnt a threat that needed doubling.

With Dorsey and Abe, he will be singled all day long and will have a breakout season.

At least thats how it looks on paper :)

It's what I WANT to happen.

Draft Chris Long... Only way to save us from remembering Anderson

You're speaking my language now!  Let's get a guy with Hall of Fame bloodlines because DE is a 'position of need' right now as all we have is ABE to pressure the QBs.

We don't need a Dorsey/Ellis to 'try' to help Jamaal step it up when we can get someone that's already ready already to take care of the business of sacking QBs and applying real pressure.  Atlanta's D would be a sack machine with Chris Long.  It would just be a decent defense keeping Jamaal and adding Dorsey or Ellis.

Would you be satisfied with being just above average or do you want to see some 'excitement' (Like from the Gritz Blitz days) with opposing QBs shaking in their cleats?
