Antoine Cason: Seems like a nice fit for the Falcons

Recommended Posts

Admittedly, I haven't seen him play much, but i've been reading up on him and he seems like a nice fit for the Falcons. He seems to have good character and intelligence, physical measurables seem more than adequate, comes from a family of pro football players including his father who was an Atlanta Falcon, potential to play both CB and safety, good in both pass coverage and run support, played a lot in college from the time he was a freshman and many other nice things i'm reading about him. Here's some info:

Cason is one of my favorite CBs. I think he will fall more than some think. I could see him going mid 2nd to early 3rd.

Teams fall in love w speed and 'potential' in CBs, and often overlook production. Cason could be our Rhonde Barber in the cover 2, although he is not quite as physical as Barber.

If we want another mauler opposite of man-child Chris Houston, Brandon Flowers would be it. I hate the idea of another VT guy, but this guy is a friggin manimal for sure.
