Wisconsin DB Jack Ikegwuonu (ACL surgery) is expected to begin running again in three months.

He's on schedule to be medically cleared for football activities within six months. If he's picked up by a team, Ikegwuonu will likely either spend his rookie year on injured reserve or the non-football injury list.

i think Jack Ikegwuonu is worth using the steelers 7th round pick to make sure we get him.....the guy has 1st round talent but was hurt in a freak accident

Why do we have the Steelers 7th rounder? Because of Rossum maybe?

He will get drafted before then.  Prior to this injury, he was ranked as a second round pick.  I figure that his injury will drop him by two rounds.  If we get a compensatory 4th rounder for the Kerney loss, we should look at him.  I doubt he gets any play time this season (he'll be on IR), but he might be a very good investment for the long term.
