Stephen Y
Now that Petrino is gone and Emmit Thomas is still there, he should be happy, yeah?
twyntefour
your missing what the whole problem is, d hall wants pade. we would rather invest 110 million dollars into a dog fighter than into a pro bowl top teir corner.
Robert L
You would think. But, I guess we'll have to wait and see how it all pans out.

Stephen Y
I'd really like to keep D-Hall and would really like to see Jimmy turn it around. Jimmy could be an awesome safety, he's the right size and he's fast.
Electric Falcon
Robert L (3/8/2008)You would think. But, I guess we'll have to wait and see how it all pans out.I agree! It's too early to even try and guess as to what's gonna happen. I've heard rumours other than those on this website that the Falcons might be talking about a possible trade to either the Redskins or the Raiders. It's gonna be interesting. I can't wait to see what happens.
Bring It
There are many, many serarios that could produce a blockbuster trade or................he may stay and be totally satisfied and very protective. It will be interesting to see what actually transpires.

IDK if we have enough $ this yr. to pay for two top five picks though. Maybe take their 2nd round this yr. and Oak's 1st round pick in 2009. JMO But then again if they are willing or stupid enough I should say to give up that 1st round pick and nothing else I wouldn't say no to that either. AtlFan80
We just need to sign DHall he is one of the best and he is only 24 he still has alot of upside i feel he just wants to get paid and all of this will go away
joe714
just call dengelo.........tell him hes the centerpiece of our defense......make him feel special!! its called SALES people.........not that difficult.............sign him long term and lets get past this!! if he was 34 then yea, trade him.........hes 24!! his best years are ahead of him!!!we can draft for 3-5 years and never find another d.hall.........so why try???? this is stupid.....dimitroff, smith, whoever, needs to call his cell phone and patch it all up............the modern day athlete just wants to feel wanted and important.......thats all...........talk his ear off til he realizes hes the best we have......even if you dont think he is..........just do it!! then sign him long term!! watch how much easier it is to blitz with him at corner!! Jimmy Williams is next.how do you consider one of the premier corners in the game trash??? and jimmy williams has been in the league 2 yrs and played 2 positions? why would you want to get rid of versatility? open your mind before you open your mouth
oregonsfan
I think there is one other thing necessary to make DHall happy...10 million a year! The only thing I absolutely do not want to see is DHall walk away next year and the team gets nothing in return. If he can be resigned, fine. If he can't, trade him now.
