Dont agree.. Turner and McFadden combo is NASTY.... personally i love J-wood but he doesnt fit into the scheme here...

Do you slobs EVER stop? He will NOT play here. And may I ask why and how the **** do you know he won't fit the scheme? Smith already said he wanted to do the two RB routine just like Jacksonville had with JD and Taylor. Norwood and McFadden: Same body type, same build, same speed. McFadden is a little taller.... wow.

I'll say it right here and now, before the Falcons signed Michael Turner I was all for getting D'mac, but now that we have turner I don't think we need him. There's no way I would trade or get rid of Norwood, I have a feeling there are gonna be a lot of people saying at the end of this upcoming season saying "What the heck was I thinking when I said trade Norwood". I like Matt Forte' better then J-Wood. He seems to fit the scheme better then Norwood. Smith said they are gona use a power run. Norwood is not a power runner more of an outside the takel kind of guy. Now if Norwood gains 15-20 lbs. on his lower body then I see him being a fit.

Go watch Norwood's highlights for the past two years and report back.

He doesn't need to change an thing. Just more of the same up the middle

popping it to the outside and running to daylight. We are in for a treat.

The draw play is his favorite.

If he doesn't fit the scheme them niether will DMac. They are very similiar players and Norwood is faster. Their combine times are as reads: DMac 4.33, Norwood 4.31.

They're both fast as **** with great stiff arms. They both have small chicken legs. Here is where Norwood gets the upper hand. 23 college fumbles. Norwood had only 4 and only 1 in his final 3 years. He has had a couple in the NFL but who hasn't. How is DMac, that always holds the ball in the left hand(big RB no no) going to act when hit by bigger, faster NFL players. Can you say it with me FUMBLE!!!!

you cant be serious. J-wood has played very well every time he stepped on the feild. Unfortunately that has not been often because of Warricks presence. I'm not saying Warrick is bad I'm just saying Jerious should have got more time. No reason to waste money dropping him and picking up Mcfadden with the third. I dont no where u guys heard we might get Quinn. Remember when he fell deep into the draft and then sat out of Browns practice because he said he should have been a top ten pick, so he wanted top ten money. Well last night i was gonna pick the right lotto numbers, but then i didn't. I have to go call the lotto and get my "rightfully deserved" money (After all Quinn went through all of that then didn't even start for most of the season.)

If you watched closely near the end of the season in Atlanta Norwood was making a big play nearly everygame. No way would we trade him and his 800k contract for Quinn and get McFadden for 3mil. That's retarted when Norwood is so similiar to McFadden.

Well, Norwood will be the change of pace guy. Will more than likely see him on draws, some hitch passes and stretch plays to the outside-plays to get him into space. I am quite sure the FO and staff are well aware of what his strengths and weaknesses are.
