Ran-dawg
I normally lay out a few draft mags and ice down some beer have a couple friends over. Sometime we grill out sometimes we order pizza. Doesn't really matter it all tastes the same after we drink as much as we drink. It's a long fun day.

woodstockfan
I'll probably just hang out at the house with my son and a couple of 6 packs. One thing sort of unrelated to the thread, but I'll ask. With the new change in the amount of time between pick from 15 m to 10m, the draft will obviously move faster; but do you all think it will have a big affect on teams trying to do trade in between picks. 10 minutes goes fast. TD will have to be quick on his feet if he is entertaining any trades. Plus, how are you going to talk with several GM's that may be involved in just 10 minutes? Just something I was thinking about. Falcon Freddie
The 2008 NFL Draft is scheduled to start at 3:00 pm (Eastern Time) on Saturday, April 26. The NFL Draft has some rules chances for 2008. The first day will have only rounds One and Two. Each team is allotted 10 minutes for the first round and 8 minutes for the second round. If every team took their full time per round, the first day wouldn't end until after Midnight. However, I doubt the first Draft Day will last much beyond 8:30 or 9:00 pm. For those interested in the Falcons #3 pick, I would advise tuning in early, around 3:15 pm. Assuming the Falcons actually use the #3 pick and not trade it, the Falcons should make their Round One pick sometime between 3:20 and 3:30 pm.It's all going to be very interesting. UCSBDirtyBird
What ever happened to the talk of the NFL moving the first round to Friday night? Did that get shot down?Anyway, I will probably do what I have done since college, wake up hung over, stumble to the couch, and pray the Falcons don't blow the first pick.
