I Suck big fat Donky ba##'#? Yes...

Nice! I like how you changed it...

I only say it because he played for a really bad D.

But you never know he might panout...

Hey, what you do in your spare time is your own business.

He led the Bengals in tackles 3 out of 4 years, I'd say that's a good pick up.

:D Just messing with ya!

I think alot of that can be attributed to a horrible Bengals' D-Line. (We still have some work to do)

But having 100+ tackles in consecutive seasons is pretty nasty. It's even better when he's paired with another 100+ tackle guy in Beason.

When you tackle a guy 6 yards down the field it really doesn't mean much.

Win you sign a backup RB, it really doesn't say much.

WHEN you can't spell "When", it really doesn't say much.

Thanks Professor D o u c h e b a g, I'll keep that in mind the next time I'm posting on an internet forum.

Don't you have a Dungeons and Dragons or comic book convention you should be attending?

You asking me out? I am flattered, but you might want to look for one of your powder blue buddies in a bathroom stall.

(I am straight.)

Especially when he's got better measurables than possibly anyone in the NFL and has played great in limited time and was the consensus #1 RB in Free agency.

I'll assume everything you wrote is true - but it won't matter unless your O-line improves (drastically).

Our OL was not as bad as you think in run blocking last year. Norwood led the league in YPC for a 2nd straight year for RBs. While i like Dunn it was clear he had lost a couple steps.

You ran for 95.0 yards per game - 26th in the league. (which outdistanced us by 3.4 ypg).

I admit that our o-line was poor in run-blocking - you probably won't find a Saints' fan that disagrees. Is your 3.4ypg average the difference between a good run blocking line and a bad run-blocking line? My line is "as bad as I think." Your line is also "as bad as I think."

Norwood has a great deal of talent, but his sample size is too small. He rushed 103 times last year - 47 running backs had more rushing attempts. I said it last year and I'll say it this year - his stats are an aberration. As he gets more carries, his YPC will drop...drastically. This is, of course, assuming that he gets more carries than the 6.9 a game he got last year or the 7.1 a game he got his rookie year.

Unless he isn't a backup to the best running back in the NFL.

That can be attributed to a number of things IMO. 8 or 9 in the box every play doesn't help. We had no QB threat all year really even though Redman caught on at the end. Dunn has lost a couple steps. Predictable playcalling. It's not as bad as you think. Stats don't tell the whole story.

You're more rational than this. This is an exact replica of the "Vick is an awesome QB" thread.

-The o-line was the problem

-Knapp's playcalling was the problem

-The wide receivers are the problem

You had Wayne Gandy starting on your line.

Feel free to tell me how awesome Wayne Gandy was. I realize the guy is gone - but he started for your line last year. If he was your number 1 guard, that doesn't speak too well for your depth. O-line (like every position) is about quality starters and quality depth. If Wayne Gandy is starting, both starter and depth are highly questionable.

You had some bright spots last year, but your o-line play wasn't consistently one of them. You need to upgrade your o-line. That is all.

You have not had a legitimate passing threat in years. It could be argued that this was the best aerial year the Falcons have had in almost a decade. You can find ways to statistically prove I am wrong - but stats don't tell the whole story.

I know i'm more rational than this but its the ##### offseason, i'm arguing for the sake of arguing.
