stumpjumper
Redman played well enough in the regular season to at least secure a 4 win season, probably 5. What has DJ done in the NFL to warrant any faith in him at all? Does he carry a clipboard better than everyone else or something?

beernuts
If you think Shockely made hte Dome come alive, you were never there when Vick was at his best - what was it, 4th and 10 against Carolina?

Vicious
stumpjumper (3/5/2008)The fans won't be too excited if he leads us to 1 - 15.Honestly, is anybody's expectations really all that high this year? Nobody expects us to win the superbowl this year do they? We are kind of in a rebuilding state.

stumpjumper
Don't be nerdy? You should stop being a fool. This is what I mean, he's never played a regular season NFL game. This is like asking Joe T. to be our QB...the guy only lost a few college games.

stumpjumper
It's called sarcasm...DJ has never been in a regular season NFL game and never will. As far as sounding like a knob, what do I turn, or am I a pull knob? You sound like a illiterate idiot

HammsPounder
oregonsfan (3/5/2008)The local ABC affiliate here in Portland is reporting that Harrington was released for salary cap purposes only, and that the team is already talking with him and his agent about re-signing with a new contract. However, Harrington's agent is telling the Falcons that three teams have already contacted him regarding Harrington. Suddenly TD's comment on 790 yesterday about the team talking with Harrington and his agent about Harrington remaining with the team is making much more sense.I don't have a link as of yet (it was just broadcast on our local station about ten minutes ago), but if a link/story goes up on the station's website, I'll post it.HARRINGTON WILL RE-SIGN AND WITH OUR NEW RUNNING GAME FALCONS GO 12-4. SAY GOODBYE TO SHOCKLEY!
kschreck
He's from Georgia, of course people went nuts. That doesn't make him a quality starter.
