falcon_eyes
shockley played behind david green at uga. green not playing any where. why is shockly better fit in nfl? or is he?
Bloodhoundz
Well he's on the roster so anything is possible from him being a great qb for Atlanta or him getting cut from Atlanta.

DLS
If the rumors about resigning Harrington are true maybe Joey is Da Future.

Just_the_Truth
I am getting to the point where I don't want ANY exUGA players on our team. The homerism around this place is just WAY out of hand. Its impossible to even have a legitimate discussion about the QB position without someone stating that DJ is somehow DA FUTURE. At first, this was sort of cute but it has become quite ridiculous and sad.The guy is a really good person but he has never shown an ability to be anything more than a 3rd stringer. And honestly, I don't think much will change going into this preseason.
VH
Yes he can. DJ has better college numbers (even against much tougher competition) than Matt Ryan
Bloodhoundz
VH (3/5/2008)Yes he can. DJ has better college numbers (even against much tougher competition) than Matt RyanSame can be said for Rex Grossman, I'm guessing his numbers were better then Tom Brady. Surely Grossman >>> Brady? Alaxar
I think the only reason why he's still on the roster is because he's hurt. Cut him now and you have to do an injury settlement. Wait until he's healed and then cut him.

UGA_DAWG46
Like Shockley, no one is given Greene a chance to play. Greene, IMO, will be a good NFL QB when given the chance. Shockley is a maybe.
stumpjumper
These chances that the backups are given are called training camp.

Shockley is a maybe. This is the idiotic, conspiracy type post that makes me think that most UGA fans are merely delusional twits that couldn't spot reality if it smacked them in the face.
