Jp7833
I say we take Jake Long, we need a big guy on the O-Line and he was very impressive at the combine.

birdz4i
don t think we need matt ryan we can get a decent qb in the second round possibly flacco i think either cedric ellis usc or if he s there chris long uva he will be a beast in time just like his dad howie
Jp7833
I would only want Chris Long if we moved him to linebacker. We have already invested in two great DE's. So unless thats what we would do it would be rather pointless to bench him Anderson or Abraham. I do think, however, that Anderson could be formatted to play DT if you fed him a few steaks with peanut butter in the middle, make him gain a few pounds. birdz4i
yeah but abraham has health issues and long could get a year to learn under him and than we could let abraham go. if not move anderson inside to tackle he didn't even get a sack this year and didn't show any sign of being an outstanding player maybe solid at best. kjv315
Or we could draft Gholston and play him at end and outside LB. Gholston could be another version of Julius Peppers. I know we would love that type of player on our defense.
Lord Sarcomere
Sedrick Ellis. We need DTs (notice the plural) and Ellis fills a huge hole.
mmoreno@doughertyequipment.com
I say Jake Long, as well. We really need a solid impact rookie player and we can'tafford to get it wrong. The jury is still out on Anderson, even though I feel we should givehim more time.
formul8or
Dorsey. First of all he is an elite gamechanger that should translate straight into the NFL. He will great help Abe and Jamal and if they are getting to the QB faster it helps the corners and safeties.
Birdmahn
This is a no-brainer. We have a serious need at DT. The draft is not deep at DT and there are no front line DTs free agents available. We take Dorsey or Ellis at #3. There is no clear cut franchise QB in this draft. Matt Ryan would demand a huge contract and would be a huge gamble with the 3rd pick.Jake Long would be a cornerstone, but there is a lot of depth at OL in this draft. I think we can get quality in later rounds and in FA.Dorsey or Ellis. Take your pick. Write it down.

The Don™
what about his leg? i know it's been messed up since that Auburn game. is it worth the risk?ESPN and media are hyping it up so he falls out of the top 5. Did you see him in the National Championship game? he was killin it.

Did you see him in the National Championship game? he was killin it. yes, i saw him in the game and i also saw him in the games after the injury and how he would have issues with the leg in and out of the game. I'm not hatin on Dorsey..i love LSU players, especially on D. i just want to see us take the most solid pick at that position and if Dorsey is the man, then so be it. Hard Knock
I would say DT is our most glaring need I would say Doresy if he is there.
tyler something
Matt Ryan. I'm not confident with Chris Redman at QB. Not that I'm confident with the O-Line but I'd rather have a franchise QB than a franchise O-Lineman. And, we could always get value with either of our 2nd round picks at the O-Line.
