matty72780
To start I love the Turner the Burner pick! This kid is 5'10 237lbs, runs a 4.4 40 yard dash, and has avg. 5.5 yards per carry in the 4 years of backing up LT. He is a perfect duo with Norwood in our back field. Draft day is going to make or break this team for years to come. Begin Jake Long vs. Matt Ryan.......Matt Ryan is a great QB and could be the next great QB of the NFL, on the other hand Jake Long is a freak of nature and him paired with second year future star Justin Blaylock could make a once horrible undersized line a force to be recond with. I think we need to go with Jake Long, the reason why is it will help our running game and even with a average QB we could still be competitive and as C.R. showed this past year he could now easily get our recievers the ball better then last year with a solid line in place. A great QB with no line will always be worse than and average QB with a great line. Look how much Joe Thomas helped the Browns, and we have two picks in the second that if we were forced to trade up into a late first to grab Andre Woodson or Brian Brohm could still be a great situation for us. I just think Long is a better rated player then Ryan and would help build the foundation of our team (O-Line). Any thoughts?
Bring It
I think if by chance Joey Harrington was in New England instead of Brady when Bledsoe went down, and was the recipient of all the coaching and supporting players..........everything staying the same............he would be a star QB today.Timing..........coaching..............supporting cast.............It's everything. Are you kidding? This is the most amusing post of the day. Joey is not a good starter. He is a reliable back-up.
