hornsmd
Has anybody heard of him taking visits anywhere or who is interested in him? I would like for us to go after him. I just don't what the chances are.
DUB
best for them to speak with M. Turner about Olivea being since he ran behind him. Get a yay or nay from him.
1989Fan
Olivea got benched. He really stunk it up last year, and I dont know why. From what I heard, he was REALLY bad.
hornsmd
Didn't they change the blocking scheme last year in San Diego. Both he and McNeil struggled last year compared to the year before. I think he is worth the risk if the price is right. He has had great years.
pured-hallfan
A lot of players in SD had a down year. All the schemes changed players struggled not that uncommon. He could still be a good RT for a good price.
FalconMama
It's always leary when a good team like the Chargers are willing to let such a young lineman go. Is it injury issues, $$ or is it that he just plain sucks?Maybe someone should check out a Chargers forum and get a little insight on him. MiChargers
Actually, Olivea didnt have a down year. He simply lost the job to a better player. Or at least a player that was willing to put in more work/practice. That was the beef against him in SD.....he had a rather poor work ethic. I think he's a pretty good lineman, just needs to get himself straight. Maybe changing teams will do the trick.
1989Fan
thanks for the input!I have heard he lost his job, not just that someone better took it from him. Glad to hear some inside view on it.
