fsu_steve
One man's opinion on the Brett Favre trade, with statistics comparing Favre and the quarterbacks that played for the Falcons since he was traded.http://atlantasportscentral.com/2008/03/05...tory-of-sports/Stat of the day, Favre was sacked 438 times in his career. Falcons' quarterbacks were sacked 737 times over the same period. That is an extra 18.6 sacks per season.Investing in the line is something we should consider. Eddie Jewell
Jerry Glanville is the reason why Brett was traded. Green Bay prided itself on o-line. We were running the red gun when he was drafted.
1989Fan
Favres alchoholism is why he was traded. To be honest, it amazes me still that we got a first round pick for him.
Eddie Jewell
Glanville was never going to play him. The alcohol was a byproduct. Plus Chris Miller wasn't getting benched. 1989fan (3/5/2008)Favres alchoholism is why he was traded. To be honest, it amazes me still that we got a first round pick for him. 1989Fan
I agree. thats why I said I cant believe we got a first rounder for him. I saw a drunk toy that Glanville liked to have fun with. And GB gave a first for him. I mean we only used a 2nd on him, and he did nothing to raise his value. He was horrible when he did see the field in cleanup for the Falcons. BlacksburgHokie
If Favre had stayed here, he would have been sacked ALOT fewer times. Why? Because he would have been out of the league in 2 years...
