ruben falcon
Sup people, Well I'm scanning the boards and I keep seeing senarios that fans wouldnt mind seeing Brady Quinn as the QB for our team. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLDDDD UP!!! Me personally I'm not ready to witness this! In order for that to happen that would mean we would have to probably trade in our 1st round pick. Pass on Dorsey, or Jake Long for a dude who hasnt proven anything and never won a big game at Notre Dame?! I think not... I'm a Notre Dame fan watch them play every saturday, watched Brady take his first snap and his last as a fighting irish. And from my few years of observation the guy is smart, hes strong, but outside of 30 yards the dude is shakey at best. Now depending on what kind of offense you wanna see he might be succesful in a west coast offense where you dink and dunk down the field. But if we wanna stretch the field out and really utilize Turner we need to open things up and for that Brady is not the answer, sorry. In my oppinion the guy we need to bring in here and who will can throw any ball is a big guy with a huge arm who if I remember correct ran a 4.7 at 6'6 232 would be Joey Flacco...Joey allows us to have flexibility in the draft...especially that key 3rd pick where we can either build up that line of scrimmage on either side of the ball, and we all know is much needed. I'm also not a big fan of drafting QB's in the first round, honestly take a look most of them bust...Alex Smith is still struggling after his 3rd year...not everyone is a Manning. Another scenario I've seen out there is trading D.Hall for Brady Quinn...which isnt to bad of an idea except that if we do that we have no corner..D Hall one of the best corners in the league for an unproven QB? Naaaaaahhhhh. So people lets get with the program here and let the Brady Quinn dream go...hes not worth it. The dude has bust all over him... Boley59
Way to hard to predict. Its not harrington or redman though.
Lord Sarcomere
Well Brian Brohm isn't on the list, but if I had to pick out of those guys it would easily be Joe Flacco. Matt Ryan is going to get negative vote %.
REV.2000
ERASE JOEY AND QUINN'S NAMES AND THE REST IS A TOSS-UP.
stumpjumper
Redman at the moment, and let the young QB learn before throwing him into the fire.
Mr. Offseason
brohm is better than at least half the guys up there imo, at least as far as the prospects go.quinn would have to be the #1 choice because he is better than any qb in this draft and he has a year under his belt.brohm is #2 for me i think. Herr Doktor
No way we trade DeAngelo for Quinn. Ain't happening. We will trade MeANgelo for picks if nothing else. WE draft CHad Henne, Round 2.

WE draft CHad Henne, Round 2.I Agree with you. and i like Henne also. As long as it's Brohm, Flacco, or Henne in the 2nd i'll be happy.I don't see why people think we can get Quinn or Anderson this year. Neither of them are up for trades this year. Phil Savage the Browns GM was asked if Miami calls you about either of them what will you do. Phil said ignore the Phone call because they are not for trade this year. He said they want to go 1 more year with both of them to make sue they choose the right guy. Which is very smart make sure you know who you want before releasing either of them. They have enough Cap Space to cover it and make the bets decision.
