Can Dimitroff help us with Player Development?

face the facts, we need to build a much much better player development system, it has always been that players come here to fizzle out, go elsewhere and get better.

do we even have a year round player development system?

The Braves have the deepest Farm System in Major League Sports.

I would like to see the Falcons develop a off season "Farm system of sorts" to get these new drafted players into a Pro Level development system. A 12 month system that keeps track of players and keeps them moving in a positive direction. There is so much mental development in football, I think learning defenses, reading defenses etc can be advanced greatly especially during the off season.

Setting up something like this would be well worth the money, I think. Something more than just a Spring camp and then the pre-season camp.

Mr Blank, how about Falcon's U for the player development, something that will give our players a skill edge over other teams.

Is this possible and is it legal within the league rules to do? Surely the cap money has nor bearing on something like this. Maybe Mr Blank would benefit enough to invest in something along these lines.

I'd rather see rookies doing something like this vs hanging out and getting into other worthless junk.

I think that the NFL has very particular rules for player workouts and when they can occur. That being said, I think that we need to have a D-league in the NFL kind of like what the NBA has...it's really too bad that NFL Europe got shut down...as it was basically something like a D-league.

I am not suggesting work outs. I'm referring to Mental prepartation and development.

Seminars, whatever you call it but not physical workouts.

Knowledege is a huge part of football, it isn't all physical.
