butch from the eastside
J.P.Losman should be the Quarterback of this football team in 2008 season, The man has an arm like a rocket and throws bombs(Lee Evans) like Brett Farve did when he was young. And the thing about it is that J.P.Losman is very hungry right now to get started. I would make a move right now on this kid who is only 25 years old. Who needs a rookie learning curve, when you can have a top notch Quarterback with acannon of and arm. Atlanta Falcons should be on the Phones right now. And they should try and get Lee Evans also !!!!

dan minnich
GEORGIAfan (3/4/2008)id love to know where you concluded that he had potential?? is it because he is a 1st round pick??the fact that in 06 he had a 62% cmp% threw for 3051 yards and had 19 tds. the fact that he is only 26 and does have a strong arm. he has a lot more potentail than your boy d.j thats for sure. JBeattz
For the record, Ide probably prefer to have a bidding war for Hall between the Cowboys and Giants, than try to trade him with the Bills. But in the whole scheme of things. Redman was great when we saw him, and i have no problem with him being our quarterback next season. But Losman is a football player. Hes pretty quick for a quarterback so he runs a little when necessary. He may have had a bad setup in Buffalo for some reason. I wouldnt mind seeing him in a Falcons uniform while we develop a future quarterback. Plus with his cap hit, we could keep Redman too just in case. That leaves Shockley (who Ide still like to see get a shot). So worse comes to worse, we have 4 quarterbacks on the roster, and Shockley does more of a multi position type thing. Ide love to see him pull off some tricky receiver plays.Roddy White and Lee Evans would be a pretty nice combo IMO. Roddys got the nice #1 combo of size, speed, and athleticism. While Evans has "speedy number 2 reciever" written all over him. The cool thing is, they've both been surveyed as potential #1 recievers at one point or another, and Roddy has possibly started to emerge. So they may complement eachother nicely at this point. Then you'de have Laurent waiting and learning in the wings. With 2 up and coming backs holding down the backfield. And an offensive line that's all but guaranteed to look better than in recent years with the possible signing of Maurice Williams. Plus the good chance of getting Jake Long or another top OT in the draft. The offense would be pretty stacked.

I think another team out there will be willing to risk more time and money than I would like for us to.
