Why isn't Joe Horn.........................

Good question. We seem to be parting ways with some of the older, oft injured players -- it's all about value and return on investment -- we are not going to get the value from Joe Horn. I'm willing to bet that he doesn't start more than 6 games next year.

Chickenfried, you sure are confusing me. This is what you said on my other post about Brooking"

The key sticking point is leadership. The only key is that we shouldn't purge too many veterans -- thats if we jetison Brooking, we are leaving a pretty big gap of leadership. Although, we will have Abraham and Milloy -- not really much leadership left on the defensive side of the ball. Not that leadership should overshadow talent, skill, and, for that matter, cap value -- Brooks is a $5mm hit against the salary cap. And Nicholas has some skills -- I'm sure that's why we let Dmo Williams walk.

I don't know -- there's not much leadership left on the offensive side of the ball either

You don't seem to think we are getting the "value" out of Horn but you seem kinda unsure about the value we are getting out of Brooking. Look at this link and tell me if you think we are getting the value out of Brooking: http://content.usatoday.com/sports/footbal...n.aspx?pos=126]
