These guys have been in the shadows or out of the nfl in their careers. Michael Turner behind LT, Chris Redman selling insurance, Erik Coleman having to share time with rookies, etc.

I think this will make their passion for the game really show next season. They have an extra push and some hard earned character traits that will put forth effort for all 4 quarters in every game.

I think TD is looking for good players with strong character and DESIRE for football.

Because in the end the game of football is played inch by inch. I think if these guys fight for those inches this will turn out to be a pretty good team.

I hope you are right but I don't try to read too much into this. He may just be getting better value. Come to think of it, does look a lot like how NE built there team. Not a bunch of "name" players, just good, solid, and relatively cheap talent.
